At Te Kura o Hāpuku, we are striving to provide full immersion education in Te Reo Māori, ensuring that our uri not only learn TeReo Māori but also embrace the rich tikanga and mātauranga that come with it.

This environment fosters a deep connection to their whakapapa and promotes confidence in their Tuakiritanga as Māori.

Teaching and Learning

Innovative frameworks enhance Māori immersion education

At Te Kura o Hāpuku, we utilise Mātauranga Māori frameworks like Te Marautanga and Tātaiako to enrich learning.

Our approach integrates literacy and numeracy with kaupapa Māori, emphasising hands-on experiences in Māra Kai and Mahinga Kai, fostering a vibrant, engaging environment for ako that supports our tamariki's growth and development.
